For the investigative Podcast "Toxic Church" I created a logo, cover design and the promotional campaign. 
The cover features illuminated social media icons, reminiscent of the "cross-equal-heart" symbol frequently associated with the church. Notably, the heart icon is depicted as broken, reflecting the podcast's content. The main challenge was in alluding to the church's aesthetic without replicating their brand design, while also crafting something visually striking and distinctive.
These were alternative design mock-ups considered before the final cover was decided upon.
The show launch was supported by a extensive social media and paid advertising campaign, featuring graphical elements, trailer edits, and interviews with former church members and experts.
